Here's what to expect in the first few days after your baby is born.
Your newborn should be seen 2–3 days after hospital discharge. Call us from the hospital or schedule through the Family Portal before you go home.
We'll check weight, feeding, jaundice, and overall health. We'll make sure baby is adjusting well and that you're feeling supported.
This is a great time to ask about feeding, sleep, diaper changes, or anything on your mind. No question is too small — that's what we're here for.
